The Story

Hi there! We're Blake and Kelly, the founders of Paint for the Wild! Paint for the Wild all started with a desire to provide our community with a new way to explore their local wildlife centers and to experience the joy of painting (while supporting conservation in the process)! The first Paint for the Wild class was hosted in April of 2018 at Weedon Island Preserve, and thanks to our amazing community of supporters we have expanded into four new locations in the Tampa Bay area and are expanding into new regions of Florida by the end of 2019! Reach out with any questions you may have via email to hello@paintforthewild

The Mission

Connect our community to nature and support conservation through art.

We love to foster relationships between people and nature through creative experiences!

We are proud to share that every paint class we teach directly supports local conservation with a donation! This is important to us because we want to support the protection of public land for our communities enjoyment, support local efforts to save endangered wildlife and help support new conservation initiatives.

To build community.

We bring wildlife fans together to share in the experience of using art as a tool to learn and to support local wildlife centers. We also teach corporate team building events (like the image to the left)! If this is an event you or your company may be interested in, please feel free to email us at hello@paintforthewild.com !

For the joy of creating.

All levels of experience welcome! Going from a blank canvas to a finished painting, and discovering new things along the way is rewarding. We want people to feel this after each class! From the curious explorer picking up a paintbrush for the first time since childhood to the practiced artist seeking new techniques and perspectives, our instructors will guide you through new styles, techniques, and artwork on your creative journey!
